The scheme situated on High Street in Glasgow’s Merchant City, was designed to accommodate young adults, professionals and mature students in the aftermath of the pandemic, and with that, the remote working model. The strategy proposed dwellings with comfortable space for individuals to work from home whilst in close proximity to their households and families. The pandemic demonstrated that working from home was not just a temporary measure, and that healthy home working environments need to be considered in future housing schemes.
